Trouble brews post-divorce for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian after their child, North, posted a TikTok on the app.
Kanye, who has been insistent he wishes to be in his children’s life after the divorce, took issue seeing North posting TikToks without “his” permission. Kanye posted a screenshot of North’s TikTok on Instagram just yesterday with the caption, “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIKTOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
Doesn’t he know all caps is a bit tacky?
Kim Kardashian went on to finally speak out on her ex-husbands unusual behavior post-divorce. She wrote:
“Kaney’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughters while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision—because it brings her happiness.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all. From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.
“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
Of course, Kanye had to respond on all of social media, accusing Kim of taking their children away from Kanye, despite him trying to remain in the children’s lives.
“What do you mean by main provider?” He writes in the caption of another Instagram post with a screenshot of Kim’s statement. “America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way...”
This is not the first time Kanye brought the former married couple’s issues into the mainstream media. In December of last year, Kanye purchased a $4.5 million home in California so he may continue to be close to his children. The house in question was purchased directly across from Kim’s own house. A bit erratic given Kanye’s past misgivings, but perhaps it is a genuine attempt to remain a father to their children?
If that wasn’t strange enough, according to TMZ and a few other news outlets, the rapper was spreading rumors that Pete Davidson has AIDS. If you didn’t know, Kim and Pete have been dating for a few months now, their first spotting together on Staten Island, New York, of all places—Pete Davidson’s hometown. But Kanye has denied the rumors of the gossip completely.
Many people took to social media, insisting the couple handle their relationship issues privately. But a few have noted the only reason people are now insisting for the couple to handle the situation privately is because Kim finally spoke up to defend herself.
Regardless of what’s happening between the two of them, their problems will probably stay in the mainstream media for months, maybe even years. Hopefully the whole thing doesn’t end in disaster.
