KFC Lifetime Christmas Romance Yes, You Read that Right

None of us even knew this was in development for this unexpected Christmas season. It stars Mario Lopez as Colonel Harlan Saunders (yes, you read that right) in a 15 minute mini-movie titled Recipe for Seduction which will begin airing on December 13th at 12 p.m. The plot of the mini movie revolves a young heiress who must contend with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. But when a handsome, young chef with a secret fried chicken recipe and a dream arrives, he sets in motion a series of events that unravel the mother's devious plans.

Of course, this is really a commercial so people who order KFC on Uber Eats for delivery on the 13th can get six of the chain’s extra crispy tenders for free when they make a purchase totaling more than $20.

After its linear premiere, "A Recipe for Seduction" will continue to be available throughout the holiday season on mylifetime.com/christmas-movies, all Lifetime apps, and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms.
