Hallmark Channel to Premier Finding Mr. Christmas Reality Show

By Lori Perkins

After a major revamp, The Hallmark channel is going to relaunch its streaming service with a reality show competition to find the ultimate Hallmark Mr. Christmas that will premier mid-September.

Ten teleogenetic hunks are going to compete for the title of Mr. Christmas in a series of challenges testing their holiday acting skills and festive spirit. The winner will land a leading role in a 2024 Hallmark Channel holiday movie — and earn the title of "Mr. Christmas."

The new series is hosted and co-created by Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls), who also worked on a few other Christmas projects such as  The Christmas House, The Christmas House 2, and The Holiday Sitter. Reba and Haul out the Holly star Melissa Peterman will be judges alongside Bennett and other Hallmark Channel stars will appear as guest judges throughout the season.

The winner of Finding Mr. Christmas will go into production on his movie in the late summer, and the film will premiere later this year on Hallmark Channel as part of the network's Countdown to Christmas.

According to a press release, Finding Mr. Christmas will be filmed on a Utah ranch.

This is either going to be the most Christmas fun you can have before the holidays or an unmitigated disaster, but either way I cannot wait to indulge.  Bring on the peppermint-flavored popcorn!
