I come in weekly to catch up with Lori and David about the latest projects happening here at Riverdale Avenue Books. It’s like our little ritual—these weekly catch-ups where we dive into the latest happenings both in the office and in our personal lives. As I work on social media edits, I also get to hear about my coworkers' lives, making the time spent here all the more enjoyable.
Today, Lori came in buzzing with excitement about this fabulous fashion event she attended. She couldn’t stop raving about these incredible pants she saw. Now, I’m not usually one to get easily swayed by fashion talk, but when she mentioned that the pants featured the New York City skyline, she had me completely hooked. The brand responsible for this fashion marvel is called Snow Milk. They take upcycled clothes and give them a new life by adding graffiti-like designs filled with optimistic quotes, cool patterns, and fun logos.
I fell in love with their shirts instantly. Scrolling through their website and looking at their clothing collections was like a breath of fresh air amidst the chaos in my life.
