I usually buy a signature annual ornament for the family tree, but there really isn’t one I want to for January 6th, so I’ve really had to rack my brain to think of what that ornament would be this year (come on, we all had Baby Yoda ornaments two years go).
Thinking of the pop culture moments/issues of the year, I suppose the Santa wearing a face mask is something I should add to mark these times, but it doesn’t bring me joy.
There are a bunch of Avatar ornaments on both Hallmark, and Etsy, but, again, that movie kind of fizzled for me (beautiful, but waaay too long, even with 3D glasses).
This is the 75th anniversary of It’s a Wonderful Life, and I could certainly find a nice Etsy ornament for that, but it could also be added almost any year.
I could buy a Twitter blue bird ornament, but I’m not sure I really want to remember this deathwatch. So I’m going with the Wordle ornament.
