Fifth Times a Dud: Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters Call It Quits After 12 Days
Before they could even get around to filing a marriage license, Pam Anderson and new husband movie producer Jon Peters have called it quits. According to Anderson’s friends, even though the couple have known each other for three decades, and dated once before in the 90’s, things did not work out quite as well as they anticipated once they were living together, so they are NOT living together anymore.
In a statement she gave to The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson said, "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to reevaluate what we want from life and from one another.”
She added, “Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy."
Peters did not release a comment.
According to reports, the split was abrupt, with Anderson hopping a flight from California, where the two wed, to her native Canada on Saturday morning, just days after posting a loving photo of the newlyweds on her Instagram page.
Since the couple never registered the marriage, there might only be just four marriages each.
